We are excited to announce the opportunity for all members to sign up for group instruction sessions that will encompass a variety of presentations focused on Skeet, Trap, and Sporting Clays. These instructional sessions are designed to enhance your shooting skills and provide you with valuable insights into the techniques and strategies of these popular shooting sports. As an added benefit, lunch will be provided for all participants, allowing you to enjoy a meal while networking with fellow shooting enthusiasts.
The clinics will be expertly hosted by our dedicated and knowledgeable volunteer instructors from the Northbrook Sports Club. These instructors bring a wealth of experience and passion for the sport, ensuring that each session is informative, engaging, and tailored to meet the needs of participants at varying skill levels. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced shooter aiming to refine your technique, there is something for everyone.
Each session will last for one hour and will cover essential topics. Participants can look forward to beginning Skeet and beginning Trap sessions, which are perfect for those who are new to the sport or seeking to reinforce foundational skills. Furthermore, we will offer specialty clinics focused on Sporting Clays, which will include training on specific target types such as Rabbits, short crossers, long crossers, Chondelle/Battues, Teals, and quartering targets. These specialty clinics are designed to challenge your shooting abilities and improve your accuracy and confidence. Additionally, we will be hosting an afternoon gun cleaning clinic, where participants can learn the best practices for maintaining their firearms, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Please note that participation in these clinics is exclusively open to NSC members. To maintain an effective learning environment, we will limit the number of shooters to four per rotation. This will allow for personalized attention from instructors and a more interactive experience. Sign-ups will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to secure your spot early to avoid disappointment. We look forward to seeing you at the clinics and helping you enhance your shooting skills!
Please sign up for only one clinic. If there are open spots in other clinics, we will open spots
