The Golden BB's are Northbrook Sports Club's youth clay target team associated with Scholastic Clay Target Program. Our youth-focused approach to trap, skeet, and sporting clays is designed to foster a sense of teamwork and friendship-building, as well as to encourage young people to take part in healthy outdoor activities. Our state-of-the-art facility is designed with safety in mind and our expert instructors are always on hand to help everyone learn new skills. We strongly believe that clay target sports offer not just enjoyment but also a fantastic way to make new friends and tackle fresh challenges. Our team is encouraged to explore new activities and strive towards achieving personal milestones. These sports are a lifelong pursuit that can be embraced at any stage of life. Being an established Olympic sport, team members can partake in competitions at local, state, and national levels. Clay target sports have even led to college scholarships from multiple universities in the United States for those interested in collegiate athletics. Our team fosters a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals can enhance their skills and engage in competitions at their own pace.

Below is our 2026 SCTP competition schedule. It has been revised since the last team email. The conference shoots have been added, but these dates are still tentative as they are being confirmed with the host clubs. Last year we did not attend the conference 50 bird trap events. As the registration date draws nearer, we will poll the athletes to see if there is enough interest to warrant attending.
