Buildings & Grounds Committee
Mission & Charge
The strength and reputation of Northbrook Sports Club rests not only on our programs and achievements, but on the quality, care, and pride we invest in our campus. As we continue to position NSC as the premier clay shooting venue in the country, the stewardship of our grounds, buildings, and structures remains essential to delivering an exceptional member experience.
The Buildings & Grounds Committee is charged with working collaboratively and actively with the Buildings & Grounds Chair and the General Manager to:
• Maintain, improve, and enhance the physical condition of the Club’s current campus.
• Evaluate and prioritize needs related to infrastructure, grounds, and facility care.
• Ensure the member experience reflects excellence and consistency across all areas of the
property.
• Provide hands-on engagement and practical solutions — not just oversight.
• Bring forward ideas, expertise, and energy to strengthen the long-term functionality and
aesthetics of our Club.
This committee is seeking members who are willing to contribute their time, talent, and passion to the continual upkeep and improvement of the property. Just as our personal homes and land require ongoing care, so does our Club — and it must be done with intent, pride, and purpose. Whether your background is professional or personal—vocation or avocation—your participation matters.
Call to Action
If you value the experience of our members, care about the visual and operational integrity of our grounds, and believe in our vision of excellence, then your involvement can make a meaningful difference. This is a working committee — a team of doers — dedicated to preserving and improving what makes Northbrook special. Join us in the effort to protect, enhance, and elevate the Club we all treasure.
