The IL State Sporting Clays Championship is set to take place at the esteemed Northbrook Sports Club from July 10-13, 2025. This premier event will attract competitors and enthusiasts from across the state and beyond, showcasing the very best in sporting clays shooting. The Northbrook Sports Club is conveniently located at 160 Sports Club Drive in Hainesville, IL 60030, providing easy access for participants and spectators alike. This year's State Championship promises an exciting lineup of events, including a challenging 200 Target Main course that will test the skills and precision of the shooters. Additionally, competitors can look forward to a 100 Target 5 Stand Main, which offers a unique shooting experience with a variety of target presentations. The competition will also feature a 100 Target Preliminary event, designed to give shooters a chance to warm up and prepare for the more demanding challenges ahead. For those who enjoy shooting with smaller gauge shotguns, there will be a 50 Target Sub Gauge event, available in 410, 28, 20, and 12 gauges, allowing participants to demonstrate their versatility and finesse. Furthermore, the championship includes a 50 Target Pump Gun event and a 50 Target Side by Side event, both of which highlight traditional shotgun shooting methods. The excitement doesn’t stop there; competitors can also participate in a 50 Target FITASC event, which is renowned for its unique shooting format that emphasizes skill and strategy. Lastly, the 100 Target Super Sporting event will provide a thrilling finale to the championship, combining various target presentations that challenge even the most seasoned shooters. The Northbrook Sports Club has a rich history of hosting prestigious events, having successfully organized numerous state championships, regional competitions, and even the highly regarded US Open. This venue is well-equipped to handle large competitions and offers a welcoming atmosphere for shooters of all levels. In addition to the State Championship, the club is known for its vibrant shooting community, offering monthly tournaments that cater to a range of shooting disciplines including 5 stand, FITASC, trap, skeet, and international bunker trap. These regular events provide an excellent opportunity for shooters to hone their skills, engage in friendly competition, and connect with fellow enthusiasts. IL State Championship Sponsorship

  • The ISCA will pay for up to 20 Junior, 20 Sub Junior and up to 20 Lady concurrent entries in the IL Sporting Clays Championship Main Event.

  • Discounted Sub Junior, Junior and Lady entries are eligible for self-paid options, they are not eligible for any purses or prizes embedded in the event. They can be eligible for purses or prizes embedded in the event if they pay the full entry.

  • The ISCA will pay $100 of the reduced entry for Sub Junior, Junior and Lady concurrent entry fees for the IL State Championship Main Event. The host club will cover the balance. These entries are not eligible for any purses or prizes embedded in the event. They can be eligible for purses or prices embedded in the event if they pay the full entry.

  • How to: when available, register online for the event. The sponsorship difference will be refunded by the host club at the event.
