Our Mission
Our purpose is to foster education in the proper conduct and effective techniques of shotgun target shooting and the safe and efficient handling of shotguns in the northern Illinois area, and to promote national and international amateur sports competition in shotgun clay target shooting in this region.

North Star is an IRS 501(c)(3) Charitable foundation whose missions to promote Education and Competition at Northern Illinois Clay Target venues.
The new North Star Foundation is now able to accept donations and is your opportunity to help your sport and your club(s) benefit from your generosity while you receive a charitable tax deduction.
The foundation has been launched with the sponsorship and vision of Northbrook Sports Club and the board of directors is comprised of local shooters and NSC members. North Star has the option to initiate a broad range of projects and programs. Our board has identified a number of tentative initiatives to continue enhancing and growing our sport.
Please WATCH FOR exciting details in the near future about upcoming events and programs !
Initial ideas include: Women and Youth shooting education, training course construction, and other programs and projects related to education and/or competition. We will be identifying targeted projects and will accept any donations for them as well as being open to donor identified / directed projects.
